Collin and I are going to Oregon in a couple weeks! I am so excited to go home. : ) It is beautiful and green. Some great photo opportunities are going to come along, too, as we are going to the coast. I can't wait to take some awesome pictures of Collin for his 2 year pics.
My sis is going to take some days off from school to play with us. I wish Clainer was coming, but I think it will be good for Collin and I to practice a plane flight before we go to Hawai'i. He is so excited to fly on an airplane! He wakes up every day since I told him and asks about it. "Fly Ah-plane?" So cute.
My mom lives in Hillsboro which is near Portland. We will hang out in town, so shopping, go out to eat (of course! A vacation isn't the same without eating your favorite foods!) I REALLY want to do the haunted underground tunnels in Portland. I am hoping we can get my sis to watch Collin so we can! It will be so awesome! It's where they led Asian slaves underground from the sea ports and up through bars and stuff. Crazy! I guess the tunnels are one of the most popular haunted destinations in the U.S.!
I am nervous about taking Collin through the airport, though. First of all because of sickness..I have become OCD about germs since The Swine. Good thing, too, since my close friends' kids ALL have it right now. If I wasn't so damn cautious, we would probably be sick too. I stayed FAR AWAY from her when she started to get the sniffles. Now the whole family has it! Needless to say, I haven't seen her for 2 weeks now. LOL
But I am also scared about the actual airport itself. I haven't flown for a couple years and I am a little timid about it. Maybe it's just because I have a different way of thinking now that I am a mom. I just worry about everything. I never used to be that way. But I know it will all be fine! After all, it's only a 2 hour flight, right! Can't be that bad!
