(I am doubling or triple-ing up on posts for this list since I got started late and need to finish by Dec 31st!) LOL
This. Guy. Right. Here.
He definitely has had a HUGE impact on my life. He makes me want to be a better person. I never wanted kids because I am too selfish. I wanted things to be about ME when I finally left the nest at 18. I did what I wanted, when I wanted. I still cared about others, but I was first and foremost in my life and I didn't think that I would ever change. I had made the decision when I was like 12 that I DIDN'T EVER WANT ANY KIDS.
HA!
Look at me now.. soon to be MOTHER OF TWO. : ) And I love it. I am so excited. Two is definitely the max for us though. We are getting one of each and we are so happy!
This kid of mine.. Collin McClain.. there is so much to say about him. He is super smart, funny and CUTE AS A F@#*ING button! (Sorry, but it's true. Look at him!)
He wakes up pretty much every morning in a great mood. RARELY ever is he grumpy in the morning. And terrible two's? HA! He was an angel! He will be 3 in a couple weeks and people have said watch out for the terrible three's, but I am not worried. This kid is a handful in a whole other way: He's super ridiculously smart!
He says the funniest, wittiest things, too. Sometimes, he makes me laugh so hard... even when I am supposed to be upset about something.
Example:
Me: "Collin! Why is your room such a mess?! I am sick of cleaning it EVERY DAY!"
Collin: "Ahhh. Mom. Why do we have to talk about this? We just fight."
LMAO!
It's true. He's right. Why do I always have to say that. ?? lol lol
He keeps me on my toes and while I do get frustrated like every mom with a toddler does, I love this kid more than anything on earth. He is such an angel. 'Baby Angel' is what I called him when he was born and I still call him that every night.
Each night at bed from the time he was born, too, I say "See you when the sun comes up." And he says it back to me now. Melts my heart. He is such a great little person whom I know is going to grow up with a huge heart and do great things.
I love you, Koala!

He is so cute and it is crazy how such a little thing can have such a huge impact on your life. Life sure doesn't always turn out the way we planned, but for me it has turned out better for sure :) I am loving reading your challenge :)
