1 MONTH OLD!

Baby Girl! You are 1 month already!
I can't believe it. You have grown and changed so much and come so far from that frail, tiny baby staring up at me with those big eyes in the hospital.
We love you so much and we have had the best time with you already in our family.
You were the 'missing piece' of our family and we are so happy you are here. Although I said I NEVER wanted another baby after Collin was born, now that you are here, I can't imagine life without you. 
Thank you for being my cuddle bug, my friend, and my sweet princess. 
You LOVE your brother and he is in love with you. You guys will have the best times together soon enough. Playing, loving, running and joking. We can't wait!
We are just beginning a great schedule (I hope it lasts!). You were having a hard time determining the difference between night time and day. You would sleep so deeply all day and party all night! The past few nights you are finally figuring it out. I can tell you that it is so much fun to have you awake and alert during the day so we can play and read and cuddle.
You are sure growing fast. You were a mere 6lbs 7oz when we brought you home from the hospital. (I just found that out at your 2 wk appt. I had no clue you had lost 8 oz!) So sad. :( Now you are out of your Preemie Small diapers (wow!)  and into a size 1. lol
You are still fitting into your newborn outfits. In fact, that's all you can really wear since you are so petite. haha 0-3 month outfits are still too long and they look silly. I can't believe how teeny you are.
Your hair is still dark, but not black anymore. Your eyes are super dark blue. I am hoping they will be brown!

You talk and smile the entire time you are awake. You started smiling (real smiles!) about 2 wks ago. You smile when someone comes into the room to talk to you and especially at your brother. You coo and grunt and snort and squeal all the time, too. It's so fun!
You hate the car seat, but fall asleep after being in it for a bit. I feel so bad putting you in it. I know you despise it. :(
You LOVE being outside, when it's warm anyway. Like your mama! You also really enjoy taking baths. You are so different than Collin in that way. He didn't like baths unless I was in there with him. He is still that way sometimes. We end up taking most baths together. lol :)
Tummy time isn't your favorite, but you are doing so well with it! You are moving and lifting your head like a champ and even pushed up off the mat with your arms yesterday! I thought you might roll over! Soon, I'm sure.
everyone compliments you and how beautiful you are. You REALLY are a gorgeous baby. I know. All parents think their kids are the most beautiful, but you really are. Just a pretty baby. 
I think you look a lot more like your dad than Collin ever did, but the funny thing is that you and Collin's baby pics are IDENTICAL, he was just a lot bigger than you are. 
SO FUN! We love you, Evyn Michelle. You are so great and we can't wait for all our adventures together!
