2 Months

You are two months already! I can't believe how fast time has gone by. You change and grow so much every day and are SO cute. You get complimented everywhere we go, people always saying how pretty your face is. : )
Things you are doing this month:
Constantly smiling. You love the word "poopy". It makes you smile and coo. So funny! You also love your bear mobile above your changing table. It is a manual mobile, and when I spin it you smile and I swear you are trying so hard to laugh. First thing in the morning is when you are extra happy to see the dancing bears. : ) This is my favorite time too because those big smiles you share with me melt my heart!
Your thighs are HUGE and roly. We call you the Michelin baby. I don't know when they got to be so chunky. It seems to have happened overnight! 
Your doctor appt is tomorrow, so I don't have any stats to share right now. Stay tuned! I am sure you have gained a lot, Miss Priss!
You love to kick your legs and kick your toys that hang down from your play mat.
You still enjoy the bath and the sound of the water.
Not liking tummy time at all still! It's hard to make you do it because you're always so happy and tummy time makes you super upset. Sorry baby!
We love you so much, Scrump! We don't know what we ever did without you. Thanks for making us smile so much every day!

The Line At The Chinese Buffet...

Okay, so I know a big ol' pregnant lady standing in line at the Chinese Buffet is a joke in itself, but here's the story:
I don't go to the Chinese Buffet to eat Chinese food per se.. I go to have a selection of food that is pretty decent for a good price. That's not the point of course, but just thought I would clear up that I am not white trash thinkin' the Chinese food at this place is real. No Asians even work there... Enough said. LOL
So, I am standing in line and there is a prego chick standing behind me. I jokingly say, "It's all for the baby, right?! hahaha."
We are standing at the part of the buffet with all the fried foods; Sweet and Sour Chicken, Egg Rolls, etc...
She is probably around my age, maybe a bit older. She says "How far along are you?"
"Just about 6 months. I am due the beginning of April."
"Damn! You're HUGE!"


EXCUUUUUSE ME?? Huge?! Really? Who the hell says that to a pregnant chick? Seriously??


Me: "Well, it's my second and I blew up faster this time..."
Her: "This is MY SEVENTH."


OMG.. Really? SEVEN kids? And you're HOW OLD? (I have more to say, but let's play nice now, Mal)


She proceeds to tell me she is due Feb 27th... blah blah blah. Oh, and let me not forget to mention that our bellies are about the same size. I am bigger now at 6 months than I was at 6 months with Collin, but not by much for goodness sake.
I head back to my table almost in tears (thanks to the hormones) and tell Clain what happened. Now, anyone that knows me will know that I don't take shit from anyone and NORMALLY I would have ripped that biotch's head off! But this pregnancy has me all outta whack ; ) LOL


I get home and it's STILL bugging me. Why did she get under my skin so? Then I realize that in reality, she is only 1 month ahead of me. If her baby is due at the very end of Feb and mine is coming the beginning of April, there is really only 1 month's difference.
That's my sob story. I was upset about this for days. So weird...


Oh well. I'm over it!

**November was good! I haven't been sick and feel back to normal (for the most part)!

December will be full of fun stuff, too: Collin's Birthday and Christmas. I LOVE to spoil my kiddo. He is super special. : )

Plus, we are HALF WAY to meeting Baby B! We scheduled our C-section for April 9th, so we will for sure meet her then!

It's a Girl!!

It's a GIRL! I knew it all along. We are so excited! We couldn't wait another 3 weeks until our 20 week ultrasound at the OB, so we went to Fetal Fotos and had some fun pics taken yesterday. My mom is down visiting, too, so I really wanted to find out while she was here. I need a shopping buddy!
We are so excited and have already picked out a few names but they are secret. SShhh... I don't want anyone stealing them, so they will make their debut when she does. : )
Collin is ecstatic. When the Ultrasound Tech made the announcement, all he could say was, "I knew it! I knew it!". Hahahaha We were all laughing so hard. He was calling her Princess Baby Spiderman Girl until last night, now he has decided since we KNOW it's a girl now, she deserves a shorter, more loving name: Princess. : ) He is so cute and totally excited! I think he will be a great big brother.
So.. that's the story. A boy and a girl. Our family is complete. : )
Baby B: Due Beginning of April, 2011
HOORAY!!!!!!!!!

I have been having STRONG feelings that it's a girl lately. I know we both REALLY want a girl, but I can feel it. You never know 'til you KNOW, but I am sure I do. I feel so much different and have been dreaming about baby girls. I dreamed of baby boys when I was prego with Collin.

I appeased my need to shop for baby girl stuff the other day and bought the cutest flower headband off ETSY.COM 

It is darling! It was only $6, so if the baby turns out to be a boy, then I will have only spent $6 on something we can't use. : )

I am sick as hell this time. I have tried to eat crackers in the morning, but it only helps a little bit. I haven't really been eating or drinking. I just can't do it! I know I need to. I am wishing my doctor's appointment was sooner because I want the anti-nausea pill SO BAD.

I have no energy. I would love to lay in bed all day and sleep, but I have a two year old this time. Talk about hard! He is such a sweetheart though. If I am ever in the bathroom being sick he knocks on the door and says "it's okay, mommy". He will rub me and kiss me.

He is super excited! He thinks 'it' will just pop out and be ready to play knights and Batman. lol He wants a baby girl so bad. He said she can be the princess. He said he will share his toys, too. How cute!

Anyway, I am going to go lay down now...again...like I have been doing all day long. ugh.. What can ya do? Nothing. Just pray that it only lasts a little while!

AAAHHH!!!!!

I have been having bad thoughts lately and I can't stand it!!! We found out about the pregnancy so early that I am worried about it... about something happening. I can't shake it and I don't know why! I mean most women don't find out until they are like 8 weeks. I probably should have kept it to myself until I am further along but I got so excited!
I need to relax and stop thinking all these stupid thoughts!!! I need a vacation I think. Just some time to relax and enjoy myself. Yeah right! : )
I need some ME time or some GIRL TIME with my girlfriends. HELP ME SHAKE THIS FEAR!!!!!!
My first appointment isn't until September 7.. That seems like an eternity. The bright side is that I will have the same doc that saw me throughtout my first pregnancy and delivered Collin. I think that is so cool.
Those are my thoughts for the night....

What a Surprise!!!!

Yes, it's true... WE ARE PREGNANT!! I couldn't believe it either. I always said I NEVER wanted kids, then Collin came along and I didn't think I could love anything as much as I do him!
I thought I would be terrified to get pregnant again to tell you the truth, but I am excited! Why be terrified when it's such a happy thing!? I DEFINITELY am done with two though.. That is why I am PRAYING, HOPING and WISHING for a GIRL!
This pregnancy is so different already. I am only about 5 weeks-ish, but already I am bloated, having food cravings, feeling tight in my abdomen. I FELT pregnant even before I verified through the test. I was having dreams and thoughts all the time. WEIRD.
This pregnancy started out a little different than Collin's since his was more planned.. .sorta. We lost the baby before Collin at 13 weeks along, so we were trying to have another. So I was being fit, eating right, not drinking soda, etc.
This time, I have had a couple drinks, haven't been eating well... I feel HORRIBLE! I guess it isn't normal for women to find out they are prego this early on, so they are bound to make 'mistakes', so I can't dwell on them. I just have to make up for them now and be healthy and happy!
We are super excited! I am already looking online all the time for Eco-Friendly baby stuff. I can't keep my eyes of girl stuff!!! I am hoping that since this time around seems so different that means its a girl! That would be great to have one of each. But my friend, Amy, is a perfect example of not knowing.. she has THREE boys! Oh man... I don't know how well I will be able to handle two boys, but oh well! It's 50/50 so we will just keep our fingers crossed and be happy to have a fat, healthy baby... either way!! Especially if we are so lucky as to have a baby as sweet, handsome, healthy and smart as our little Collin!
