NANA!!

Nana came from Oregon to visit and we had so much fun! I HATE it when she has to leave. I always cry. Being a gilr and being the oldest (FIRST BORN!! HA!) I think it makes me that much closer to my mommy. We did a lot of fun things while she was here and she spoiled us to death. Thank you, Mama!
Collin and I are going to fly out next month to visit her and Jory. I can't stand only seeing my mom every 3 or 4 months.. it's too hard. I need my mommy!
We miss you and love you, Nana. Can't wait to be with you again!

Gotta Love 'Em!

My mommy and my sister, Jory. They are 2 of the most important people in my life! I miss them like crazy and wish so much that we were closer so we could be together more often. You don't appreciate that kind of stuff until you're older, I guess.
I enjoy the time we get to spend together and am a mess when they leave. I can't believe that my little sister is 16! WTF?? That makes me feel so old. She is so cute. We look nothing alike. She's blonde and blue. I'm brown and brown. She is hilariously sarcastic and extremely intelligent. I am so proud of her accomplishments.
My mom is amazing! If you know her, you are lucky. She makes such an impact on people's lives and is so stinkin' cute. I adore her and can only hope to accomplish as much as she has in my lifet time. I countdown the days till she gets her and hope they go by slowly while she's here.
We have a blast together and Collin talks about his Nana all the time. I am so lucky to have such a great relationship with these two incredible women.
Love you guys!!

Goodbye, Gus Gus

We had to say goodbye to our sweet Gus Gus last week. The house we were living in was sold out from under us and we weren't able to find a place that would accomodate all of our family needs (good area, affordable, allows Pit Bulls, etc), so we had to find him a new home. He went with a GREAT couple who lost their Pit Bull in July. He was 17 years old! I knew from the moment I met them that they were the people I wanted Aengus to go home with.
I am so glad he is with a great family where he is the only dog and there are no kids. He won't have to compete for attention and affection. He will be spoiled to death. He was such a great dog! He was gentle with Collin and very protective of his home.
I love the American Pit Bull Terrier. They are great family dogs and are so lovable and cuddly. It is sad they have such a bad reputation. It is how they are raised that makes them good or bad. I can't imagine life without him! He was honestly the sweetest dog on the planet and I will miss him everyday.
We love you, Gus Gus!
